Self Cleaning

Right Side: Tiles coated with the new Nano-Composite materials show bright glossy look after 6 months of outdoor weather exposure.  

Left Side: Tiles are typically dirty after 6 months of outdoor weather and exposure.  Major scrubbing will not easily restore to a new look.

Anti-Stain

Test of Methylene Blue Dye coating (round spotted area).   Methylene Blue is a standardized test to determine the ability of preventing and removing of stains on surfaces.

Right Side: Shows that the Methylene Blue has been reduced to being transparent after 6 months of outdoor weather and sun exposure.

Left Side: Shows the Methylene Blue remains after 6 months of outdoor weather and sun exposure.

Anti-Corrosion: Acid

Metal samples are Immersed in Acid solution.  There is no effect on the right sample.which is coated with ACTivate Nano-Composite

Anti-Corrosion: Alkali

Metal samples are Immersed in Alkali solution.  There is no effect on the right sample.which is coated with ACTivate Nano-Composite

Salt Spray Resistance 

Metal samples are exposed to Salt Spray solution to test resistance to corrosion.   There is no effect on the right sample which is coated with ACTivate Nano-Composite.

UV Blocking Capability

ACTivate Nano-Composite coating provides enhanced UV protection for all underlying materials.
